The Independence Sinfonia Chamber Orchestra was created as a non‑profit organization in 1995.

From 1995, the Orchestra has performed 285 individual pieces during 100+ concerts in 27 venues in the Delaware Valley area.

There have been 29 concert seasons (the 2020-2021 season was cancelled by the pandemic) under the batons of six music directors/conductors and four guest conductors.

The orchestra has welcomed over 70 soloists including six choir/chorale groups.

Our repertoire included works of 56 composers. The five most frequently performed were Mozart, Beethoven, Brahms, Mendelssohn, and Dvorak.
