The Independence Sinfonia Chamber Orchestra was created as a non‑profit organization in 1995.

From 1995 through 2023, the Orchestra has performed 285 individual pieces during 95 concerts in 27 venues in the Delaware Valley area.

There have been 26 concert seasons (the 2020-2021 season was cancelled by the pandemic) under the batons of six music directors/conductors and four guest conductors.

The orchestra has welcomed 62 soloists including six choir/chorale groups.

Our repertoire included works of 56 composers. The five most frequently performed were Mozart, Beethoven, Brahms, Mendelssohn, and Dvorak.
